The Brasserie is open daily for breakfast service, an all-day dining menu is available in our Snug bar or order from our room service menu.
Our concierge team is onhand to assist with restaurant recommendations and reservations.

Our team of expert chefs have created an evolving menu, using only the very best seasonal local produce, the perfect showcase of Scotland’s natural larder. Begin your day with a hearty full-Scottish breakfast in our Brasserie, boasting dramatic views of Calton Hill; before moving up to our cosy Snug, where you can enjoy Afternoon Tea or our seasonal all-day dining menu, beside an open fireplace.

Our Head Chef has hand-picked local suppliers who source only the highest-quality, freshest, in Scottish produce. Campbell Brothers supply all meat and poultry, the quality of product is demonstrated through Campbell Brothers Royal Warrant, as providers of meat and poultry to the royal household. All seafood is sourced from quaysides on both the Atlantic Ocean and North Sea.

AFTERNOON TEA

The Snug offers a unique setting to unwind in style and enjoy a sumptuous home-made Scottish afternoon tea in Edinburgh city centre. Our Head Chef has crafted a menu that offers a Scottish twist on the traditional British institution, making use of traditional Scottish staples, and combining them with the delicate tastes of an afternoon tea.

THE SNUG

Positioned in the physical heart of the hotel is the cosy Snug — a perennial favourite among regular guests of The Glasshouse as the place to unwind.

Fully renovated in 2018, the new Snug offers our guests the perfect setting to enjoy Scotland’s national drink. With a new and exclusive selection of almost 160 Scotch whiskies, you can enjoy a warming dram by the fireplace, a bespoke cocktail on the roof garden, or you can pair your whisky with one of our premium cigars. For the whisky novice, our experienced team can take you on a journey through Scotland’s world famous whisky regions.

Please do not worry if whisky is not your tipple of choice, our expert team of mixologists can also craft you a cocktail from our vast non-whisky collection.
